Dirty Kids Organics

This is a sponsored post however the opinions expressed here are my own honest truths, nothing less than the best for my family and readers.

So let’s get real about BO and DO… what do you look for in a deodorant? Considering we use deodorant daily you want the safest product you can find that also works!!! With companies always adding different ingredients and chemicals to our deodorants I am not comfortable with the effects these can have on my family or myself so I made the decision last year to only go with all natural deodorants. It wasn’t until recently I found the right product… that my family and I are happy to stick with and that is Dirty Kids Organics! This deodorant has it all, except the unnecessary artificial Ingredients and chemicals. So I’m sure your wondering what’s in this deodorant? The ingredients are as follows:

  • Coconut oil
  • Carnauba wax
  • Arrowroot powder
  • Shea butter
  • Baking soda
  • Essential oils depending on scent*
  • Lavender includes lavender, lemon, cypress, and rosemary

It’s  all 100% all natural and made for kids so it really kicks butt when it comes to odor while being equally gentle on all skin types including sensitive skin. My whole family is in love with their deodorants. This deodorant is not only 100% all natural,  its organic, cruelty free/vegan, aluminum free, non GMO, paraben and bpa free, and it works!!! With two sweaty boys in my house the deodorant has to be gentle on their bodies but tough on smells. Dirty kids Organics deodorant was made for kids while keeping in mind the importance of being gentle and safe for their bodies. This is so crucial with all the new discoveries of different additives and/or chemicals that are put in our everyday products that can cause harm to our bodies. You definitely should check out this shop. This mom makes small batches, handmade in America. So aside from a great product when buying from Dirty Kids Organics you are shopping small. This makes it possible for moms and entrepreneurs alike to be able to work at home and support their children and family. To check out this moms shop just click here Dirty Kids Organics .

This deodorant is amazing, and I have severe eczema so when I find something this good that doesn’t cause any break outs I definitely will stand by it and I feel comfortable with my whole family using it.  I hope you all have a wonderful day!! Stay happy and healthy!

Mama behind the madness

Joys Of Boys

The Joovy Tricycoo 4.1

Baby products momlife blog toddlers

This is a sponsored ad though all opinions expressed here are my own.

Hey mamas if your looking for baby’s first ride that helps baby get around with that feeling of independence…I’ve got the perfect solution. Joovy makes an all in one tricycle/stroll around and it’s called the Tricycoo 4.1!! This convertible trike made to grow with your baby is so amazing and offers many features. I’m confident that you will love it and your kiddos will enjoy this toy. We all know as mamas the details count when it comes to our babies…right!!

Ok so I’m going to share with you all the details of this 5-star rated product…then you can head over to their page to take a look for yourself. (I’ll include the link at the end of this blog.)

First this tricycle goes from 10 months to when your baby or toddler reaches 44 pounds. The Tricycoo comes with 4 stages.   When you first open the box there are very few pieces, screws and tools and since I am alone during the day it was nice being able to easily put the toy together. Joovy sends simple step by step instructions along with a picture diagram to follow if you like. Tricycoo has a padded safety seat with harness straps to make your little one feel comfy and secure while enjoying their new ride. And keep in mind most of the features are optional so this ride can be made to fit your baby or toddler using what feels most comfortable. It also has a baby surround seating system to help baby stay in the seat and feel secure. You have the parent push handle which conveniently will steer the Tricycoo. This is why this is our go to product while out and about my son loves “riding his trike” as opposed to sitting in the stroller and it has a cup holder for his water bottle and a basket on the back to carry a book or toy or mommy’s purse while we are strolling around the park! If baby is not pedaling the trike there is a drop down foot rest also so his feet won’t hang. Lastly, cleaning the Tricycoo 4.1 is a breeze using just a mild soap and some water and make sure to dry all parts before storing and don’t leave behind any debri or dirt on the parts. If any parts are missing or broken just contact Joovy using their toll free number and replace the parts.

We love our new joovy Tricycoo 4.1

The End of July…

At our house the summer flies by. My husband works long hours and I spend long days with my son. Then at night I will work on my blog and my clothing shop. We spend every moment of our free time outdoors at the local parks, the waterpark, or the kids museum. Doing these activities helps my son socialize, since it’s normally just he and I.  But now it’s the end of July and our schedule is becoming more regular as life slows down and we head closer to fall.

Currently in our house

  • We are obsessed with Salem Essentials all natural handmade bath bombs and soaps….
  • We are listening to our favorite edm djs…
  • We are eating homemade comfort food as I battle a nasty sinus infection…
  • Jackson is learning to speak using words and not angry grunts…
  • We are in the homestretch with teething, he has four molars to go and they are coming in…
  • My new workout is shuffle dancing…
  • Jackson is learning to jump…
  • We are using essential oils on a regular basis…
  • Potty training is at a standstill…
  • We are binge watching Stranger Things on Netflix…
  • Lastly I’m on the hunt for some farm to table restaurants in my local area…

I am looking forward to August. What’s  your family up to currently? Leave a comment below…and please subscribe to my blog as I have some awesome things coming up that you will not want to miss out on!

Summer By The Pool

We love summertime at my house!! Especially the long days that give us more time to be outdoors…including being poolside! This year we decided to invest in season passes at our local water park, which in the long run saves us time, and money. We live 10 minutes away so it’s something I can do with my son during the day to keep him busy and me sane. But there are some good things know before venturing out to the water park or just a pool in general. Check out my list of must haves and should haves…(I learned a few the hard way)

  • First always bring sunscreen 30+or higher and if possible get the broad spectrum so most of the harmful rays are covered. I bring all natural, lotion, and spray on and I keep them in a small wet bag in case any of them leaks. I really like having the variety because some days spraying us down quick quick is easier especially with a squirmy toddler.
  • Next this seems too logical but towels!! I have taken my family swimming and packed everything but towels, it can happen!! So I always roll up three towels… it’s a space saver to roll them in my pool bag.
  • Water. You can bring one outside bottle per person, and I always put my 32 oz bottle in the bottom of my diaper bag, because you can easily get dehydrated on these sweltering hot days if you don’t drink enough fluids or water. Most people in the water and sun all day don’t realize they haven’t been taking in enough water until it’s too late.
  • I recommend bringing some antibiotic cream and some different sized bandaids. I and Jacksons dad both have been scraped, cut, and blistered at the park and I forgot to pack these simple things we needed. So I put them both in a small ziploc bag it’s so simple.
  • For your little on bring water shoes even if they may not use them. The pavement get extremely hot and can burn those little baby feet. And most water parks have cement bottoms in the pools because it’s easier to keep up with all the wear and tear the pools can get. These concert bottoms can really scrape babies toes so always great to have the water shoes handy.
  • Optional- When we go and stay all day we will load up or stroller with any bags and Jackson and it’s so much easier to protect our items and gives him the option to walk or ride.
  • We always bring a wrist harness. It works very well and they are super cheap on amazon. They are worth it because when the park is busy and kids are running everywhere it is very easy to get separated when walking to or from your chairs or cabana.

It sounds like a lot but we actually only carry two bags in for 3 of us including our toddler. And it’s always easy to pack up and tote around. But more importantly we have everything we need for a day of family fun in the sun. I hope these simple tips are helpful for you and your little on any pool side or beach outing you may be venturing too this summer.
